Magical Uses: Given to your cat, it creates a psychic bond between you. It is also intoxicating to the cat. Catnip is used in love sachets, usually in conjunction with rose petals. If you hold Catnip in your hand until warm, then hold anyone else's hand, they will forever be your friend. As long as you keep the catnip you used for the spell in a safe place.  Grown near the home or hung near the door, catnip attracts good spirits and great luck. Large Catnip leaves are pressed and used as bookmarks in magical texts. 

Catnip is a great herb to draw things towards you so if you are looking to improve a situation such as money, luck, love etc use Catnip in your spells to draw your desires to you. It is also a protective herb so adds that quality to your work too.
