The primary use is in money magic, but also used to good effect in fertility magic. Used in Witch bottles or bowls for attracting abundance and wealth. Also used in ritual baths and in tea recipes. Keep a small amount in wallet or purse to draw in money and prosperity.

A medical treatise of 1491 stated that “if a man carries the root around with him, no venomous beast can touch him”. It was also thought that hanging wood avens over one's doorway would prevent the Devil from crossing the threshold!

Our small packets of herb are packaged in a grip seal pack for freshness with approx one tablespoon of herb in each pack.
